REVIEW: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Videogame-Review proudly presents the Review of  Deus Ex:  Human Revolution

The rain falls while the roaring city lights obscure the stars in the sky, the year is 2027 and the world is experiencing the emergence of biotechnology can modify and enhance the human being. Large corporations have more power than governments, all struggling for control, for power ... As I look at this city rotting from the windows of my apartment, I am asked to enter a war that is not mine, in the meantime in the  streets spreading  the chaos ...
Eidos and Square-Enix back in the spotlight, raising one of the most important sagas in the history of cyberpunk games, and as many unfortunately was lost in the sands of time. Deus Ex Human Revolution is an RPG hybrid, which makes an intelligent mix of different genres of his greatest strengths. In fact, the player-spectator can roam seamlessly between the action, stealth, FPS, RPGs, and so he ends trapped in a gaming experience with very few meters of comparison.

There are legends that with the passage of time are forgotten, others who enter by force in the collective imagination, and in a market flooded mainly by one and the same kind, however, now saturated, the arrival of a new role-playing game Western-style home of the flagship in Sony's line-up can only be good news.Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction set in a future full of contrasts. Highly advanced technological developments, cybernetic implants designed to enhance the features of man, huge corporations more powerful than the governments themselves, and social unrest in the city sprawling blend dark and rainy, only illuminated by powerful artificial lights. The task given to the boys at Eidos was not easy especially because of the fact that the legacy burden on their shoulders was very heavy, the prequel to develop a game like the first Deus Ex came out back in 2001 and signed by a living legend as Warren Spector is never easy, but judging from what we saw, we can safely say that the work done by the team is really good. The first striking thing about this Human Revolution is the visual style: the particular choice of color palette gives the whole production a very cinematic cut with clear references to the atmosphere of the cult movie Blade Runner. . The graphics engine used lays itself open to criticism especially from the point of view of texture quality and the filters, confirming how the developers have chosen to give greater importance to the work of conceptualization rather than pure technique. The polygonal modeling of characters and locations is excellent, on the same level of effects and sound industry that consists of pieces inspired and never out of context, capable of giving to every situation the right-screen pathos. The indoor environments are varied and well detailed, while external suffer a bit 'because of some low resolution textures. Well cared for the characterization of individual characters, with interesting faces, facial animation for sin, that because of an artificial look, do not show up to the high production values, but nothing that seriously impact mini General graphics. Despite the undoubted strengths of the game is not without flaws, first of all the dubbing in Italian, which unfortunately suffers from high and low, while the timing of lip-speech is almost totally out of sync, a shame since most would care about able to lift and not just the already highly stylistic product. The imposing narrative structure is a base for complex issues such as the inviolability of personal free will, and the difficulty in accepting the conditions of life, whatever they are. In this new iteration of the brand is also firmly obvious implementation of multiple-choice dialogues, to convey the key factor in choice, which allow the player to shape many of the details of the story, adding to the equation the way they react to the complex plot . The deciding factor is dominant during the course of the missions, and not principal, which leave ample freedom of approach in this regard is commendable how each choice made by the player, how you decide to respond to a character, what kind of approach to take the situation to situation, are reflected in the actual events recounted often taking unexpected turns. As in the sci-fi saga Bioware made in the plot here is the real star of the game, able to shape itself to the will of the player while offering fun experience with very few meters of comparison, at the same time and transporting the user to a future technology inspired but most credible, where the line between good and evil is not sharply divided, but is filled with many nuances.

In this sense, Human Revolution takes a direction which contrasts sharply with other products, instead of the way evolution groped prisoners prefer to stay in a congenital hypertrophic always been anathema to the kind of role-playing games.Keeping in the footsteps traced by the illustrious predecessor, the Human Revolution offers a true elevation of the nature of the hybrid, leaving the player free to choose whether to address the problems gunpoint, in a dodge, trying to get noticed as little as possible under the stylistic features of the stealth genre, or by taking the path of diplomacy, using the influence on non-player characters. Among the many strengths of this new chapter in the saga, there is certainly an authorial art direction, skillfully portraying a futuristic Detroit rare visual impact, variety of colors director of the cut scenes reflected the unique atmosphere capable by itself of carrying the player in the intricate plot line of one of the more thick that the video game we've ever offered.
Conclusions

Deus Ex Human Revolution thanks to its clever mix that ranges from action, stealth and RPG, it can offer a unique experience of its kind able to drag the player into a seamless flow, Square Enix finally hit the target giving a masterpiece of gaming to the people, a game author, who will make sure we talked about for a long time.
Final rating 9 / 10
